The Golf Club Gastein is one of the oldest golf clubs in Austria. The 9-hole golf course in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park was founded in 1960. Around 40 years later it was extended to 18 holes. The 18-hole golf course offers a unique experience of nature at its best.
The 18-hole golf course in Gastein valley will impress with all the challenges practiced golfers are looking for: doglegs, sand bunkers, water obstacles and tricky greens. The area is pretty breathtaking as mountains, water and forest form a backdrop beyond compare for unique golfing in Gastein. Nothing stands in the way of teeing off with a brilliant view of the mountains! We wish all our guests a good golf game and a lot of fun on the challenging greens! After a successful game we recommand to make a break in the golf restaurant „Stüberl“ or on the sun terrace. They offer traditional and international delights as well as a fine selection of wines.
The golf academy of Head Pro Adam Fisher has its own practice site as well a driving range. He offers both group and individual lessons in an “all inclusive” package for all levels. Lessons can be tailored to suit your individual needs. Beginngers train to make the playing license, intermediates take private lessons or attend private courses for max 2 people.
